Evander Holyfield On The Joshua vs Wilder Fight and Who He’s Leaning Towards

Evander Holyfield On Joshua vs Wilder

Evander Holyfield on the Joshua vs Wilder fight as the two continue talks to try to make a world heavyweight title unification bout in 2018.

Both Joshua and Wilder certainly want the fight.

That much is clear at this point.

But where it happens and under what deal, as is always the case in boxing, is taking time to hammer out in the negotiations.

They’ll fight at some point alright.

It’s just a question of where and when.

Hall of Famer Evander Holyfield like every other boxing fan on Earth wants to see it happen:

“Well I think it would be a great fight. I think that’s what boxing needs. A little shot in the arm. Both of the fighters are good fighters. With Deontay, I just think it’s a guy who’s got the faith to do anything.”

As an American you can’t blame him for having faith in his fellow countryman Deontay Wilder but truth be told, the fight could go either way.

That’s why it’s so compelling.

That’s why people want to see it.

Both are undefeated, knockout artists and world champions.

All the ingredients for a special night for the sport – when it does eventually happen.
