Eddie Hearn Signs 2016 Olympic Gold Medallist

Leading world boxing promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that he has inked a star for the future to his boxing promotion earlier this morning.

Hearn has been dabbling more and more in the international and US boxing market over the last year or so.

His new signing Daniyar Yeleussinov will make his pro debut on April 28th in Brooklyn on the undercard of Daniel Jacobs’ next fight in New York.

Yeleussinov is a formidable welterweight to put it mildly.

A fighter who won every single round on route to a dominating Olympic Gold medal victory in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Yeleussinov, aged 26, is also a former world amateur champion so comes into the pro ranks with tremendous pedigree.

Speaking on the news, he said:

“I know Eddie along with my management team will work together to achieve my goal of becoming undisputed World champion. I’m excited so to box in the U.S, the U.K and at home in Kazakhstan and can’t wait for my debut in New York on April 28 and beginning my professional journey.”

Eddie Hearn commented on social media a short time ago saying:
