Tyson Fury Reacts To Deontay Wilder Knockout Of Luis Ortiz

A Lot Of People Are Overlooking Tyson Fury against Deontay Wilder

While many are talking about Anthony Joshua fighting Deontay Wilder later this year another man has his eyes firmly set on Wilder too after his win last night – former champion Tyson Fury.

Tyson like everyone else in boxing was a keen spectator on last night’s proceedings in Brooklyn where Wilder announced himself on the world boxing map with probably the best win of his career – by knocking out Cuban challenger Luis Ortiz in the 10th round.

Following the win, Fury has said on his social media accounts this morning:

“There’s no doubt in my mind that I can’t beat Deontay Wilder. Everything about Deontay Wilder makes it easy for me. Wilder is 40-0 with 39 knockouts. I once got in the ring with him and told him I would knock him out. Any place, any time, anywhere.”

He concluded:

“After last night (against Luis Ortiz) that I really know that it is 100% true. If he ever fights me I’ll knock him out for sure.”

Fury must first get back in the ring himself and get a comeback fight under his belt of course.

He is expected to return sometime in May or possibly even the early summer now, and has even been linked with a bout against Liverpool’s Tony Bellew in recent times.

Here’s what happened when both Fury and Wilder met in the ring before:
