The Gavin McDonnell vs Yafai boxing results are now in after an entertaining night’s action between the pair in Sheffield tonight.
Fighting on the undercard of Kell Brook’s comeback bout tonight, it was McDonnell who ran out the winner in the end on points.
After a strong start from Yafai it was McDonnell who took over in the fight as the bout progressed.
It was enough to land him a unanimous points win tonight and also captured him a WBC international super-bantamweight title.
This will progress him in the WBC rankings, one would imagine.
