Lemieux Finally Responds To Months Of Saunders Trolling Since Defeat

WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders has been on a rampage online since beating David Lemieux last December.

He has not wanted to let Lemieux rest for a moment after the defeat – since comprehensively beating him on points in Canada back on December 16th.

He’s been consistently throwing verbal jabs at his vanquished foe ever since.

Despite the fight been over and no look of a rematch being on the immediate horizon.

Lemieux had appeared to be sitting back and taking it for some time. But he’s had enough now.

He broke his silence on social media by saying:

It has been a long couple of months for Lemieux who as of yet, has not confirmed his next fight since the Saunders defeat.

Going into the bout many had the fight a 50-50 bout on paper but Saunders’ one sided victory was arguably the best performance of his career.

Saunders has already moved on from the fight and will next make his defence against Martin Murray on April 14th.

Lemieux has now lost four times as a professional with a record of 38-4-33KO following the Saunders defeat.

Saunders is currently based in Sheffield in the UK for his training ahead of the Murray fight.

He has been supporting fellow stable mate Kell Brook this week ahead of his comeback fight:
