Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury’s confidence appears to be coming back to where it used to be as he narrows in on his return to boxing.

Fury will return to the sport for the first time in over two and a half years later this year with a date and opponent to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

It is understood Fury will also have a new promoter and not his old promoter Mick Hennessy.

Fury has also parted companies professionally with his former trainer Peter Fury. He now employs Ben Davison as his head coach.

Speaking today on Twitter Fury was in bullish form:

Fury is currently submitting some final pieces of documentation to the British Boxing Board of Control ahead of being formally licensed as a professional boxer in the UK again.

It will be interesting to see how Fury performs not only after being away from boxing for so long, but also with his uncle and trainer Peter Fury no longer in his corner.
