Liverpool heavyweight Tony Bellew has been speaking to his fans today and one question in particular has come in for a big response.

Fan Q and A sessions directly with a sportsman or in this case a boxer are always fu.

Due to the lack of middlemen or PR person needed mainly.

It’s quite simple really. Fans get their questions answered from the horse’s mouth.

Couple this with a mouth who talks unfiltered and from the heart like Tony Bellew and you can get some great stuff.

One fan asked Bellew this morning:

Hey Tone, if rapists should be stoned (and I agree) why is Mike Tyson a legend ?

And if Drug cheats should be banned for life why do you wanna box against Fury ?

To which Bellew replied:

“First off Fury has failed a drug test for PED’s to my knowledge and in my opinion I believe Mike Tyson went to jail for something he didn’t do! He could of done half the time he done had he admitted to what he did but he didn’t and still denies to this day!”

Bellew was speaking ahead of his next fight on May 5th which will be a heavyweight rematch with David Haye at London’s 02 Arena.
