Billy Joe Saunders Slams Chris Eubank Jr’s Boxing Skills

Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr Twitter War Gets Personal

Comments from Naseem Hamed about Chris Eubank Jr have got the boxing world talking and WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders agrees with Hamed.

Hamed called for Eubank Jr to retire and blasted him and his father for telling the public (in his opinion) that junior was a world beater over the last number of years.

Eubank Jr has two losses on his record – one to George Groves now and the other to Billy Joe Saunders a few years back.

Speaking to Behind The Gloves, Saunders said what was on his mind following Hamed’s comments:

“If he’s in for just you know (a pay-day), we are not here to con the public are we? I mean, I do talk a lot of s*** myself but I backed it up twenty-six times. Middleweight world champion. Defences and what not else. I mean, yeah, I agree with Nas to an extent. He can’t particularly move forward in his boxing career unless some big, big changes happens and he gets some magic dust somewhere that enhances his boxing skills – because they are absolutely terrible.”

Saunders is currently getting ready for his next defence against Martin Murray on April 14th.

Away from training, he’s been taking his time in his abuse towards Eubank Jr in recent days.
