There’s been a lot of early bets flying around this week surrounding an Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight. Even though the fight is nowhere near close just yet.

It will happen though. Just give it some time.

It’s a fight that the public are already demanding and with Fury due to come back to the sport in the coming months, the fight is not going anywhere unless Joshua loses.

Joshua faces WBO champion Joseph Parker next up on March 31st and should he win that, it is not out of the stretch of the imagination to think the fight with Fury could not be made near the end of the year.

Realistically though it will probably be 2019 before it happens.

Earlier this week Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn made a £50,000 wager with WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders on Joshua beating Fury when they do fight.

Now Fury’s own father John Fury has gotten wind of this wager.

He’s offering Eddie Hearn to bet the value of his entire house on his son beating Joshua (hat tip IFL TV YouTube):
