One boxing fan got her wires crossed today in a bid to watch one of her favorite boxers Dillian Whyte on a show that Whyte actually won’t be on, it turns out for her.

These things happen. We’re all human at the end of the day – everyone makes mistakes, don’t they?

Well, one fight fan bought tickets for March 31st’s Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker showdown in Cardiff, Wales specifically to see Dillian Whyte in action.

Unfortunately Whyte won’t be on the bill, but as soon as he learned of what happened, here’s what the heavyweight told the fan on social media:

Whyte as things stand is currently set to face Australian Lucas Browne next up but no doubt will be a keen spectator of the Joshua vs Parker fight, whom he might be in line to face the winner or loser of down the line.

Whyte’s last fight was a points win over Robert Helenius which although he won, admitted afterwards to been under par on the night.

Joshua and Whyte have shared the ring twice overall. Once in the amateurs which Whyte won and the other time in the pros when Joshua knocked him out cold.

A trilogy down the road is something both men have expressed interest in.
