The Amir Khan wife and Anthony Joshua story was brought to fresh light today by Canadian boxer Phil La Greco who got underneath the skin of Amir Khan instantly.

Glasses went flying, scuffles away from the top table ensued and all round, just some general chaos went down today at a rather staged Matchroom press conference in the UK.

Khan and his father were sitting on one side of promoter Eddie Hearn, opponent Lo Greco and a team member on the other side before things kicked off.

Khan hurled a glass at Lo Greco after he said:

“After the Canelo (Alvarez) loss you want on a losing streak family and wife. And then you go out and tweet to the heavyweight champion of the world. What is wrong with you mate? What is wrong? You go out and tweet to the heavyweight champion of the world that he can have your left overs.”

Khan proceeded to throw a glass at him in one of the nuttier press conferences in recent boxing memory.

The two will fight on April 21st in Liverpool as part of a night that will also clash with boxing elsewhere in a fight night in Belfast between Carl Frampton and Nonito Donaire.

It has not been confirmed yet or not whether alternative arrangements will be made to try to accommodate both main events hopefully taking place at different times.
