Oscar De La Hoya and UFC President Dana White are not exactly on the best of terms but it doesn’t stop former boxing great De La Hoya chiming in when it comes to Mayweather been linked to him or his organization.

Furthermore, De La Hoya and Mayweather have famously never got on either. Dating back to their fighting days where Mayweather won a close decision over De La Hoya in Las Vegas.

The two have never got on since and now find themselves as rival promoters in boxing both trying to do one another out and have a go at the other when each other’s names are brought up by reporters.

De La Hoya not long ago vocally dismissed the Mayweather vs McGregor fight as a freak show, but not long after he mentioned he’d consider fighting McGregor and even before that, he even mentioned his boxer Canelo Alvarez would be open to the bout.
