Dillian Whyte and Lucas Browne Clash At Presser

Heavyweights Dillian Whyte and Lucas Browne clashed today at their formal press conference to announce their bout at the O2 Arena in London on March 24th.

Genuine dislike has been a constant theme between the two online over the past number of months. Now, they finally have a chance soon to sort it out in the ring.

Whyte spoke a lot about comments Browne made in his opinion alleging that when he saw him in person that fists would fly bare knuckle outside of the ring.

Speaking on this Whyte said:

“One thing I want to say to you, do you think you can come to my city and punch me in my face outside the ring and you think you can go back to Australia alive?”

To which Browne replied:

“Are you serious?”

Whyte continued:

“Listen to me Lucas. I box, I do sports, I do the nice guy thing – but if you think you can do that to me mate – you’ll see.”

Later in the press conference Whyte admitted he genuinely does hate Lucas Browne:

“The main reason I hate Lucas Browne is because he called me an orangutan. I believe in equality amongst people. You don’t call a black man an orangutan.”

Despite the non stop clashes between the two verbally today they still managed to force a handshake at the end of it.

Make no mistake though, on March 24th don’t expect these two to touch gloves. They’ll be intent on knocking one another out cold.
