Tyson Fury Drops Read Between The Lines Hint On Comeback Opponent

Former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury dropped a hint today about who his comeback opponent will be this April.

It is thought that the process has started by Fury and his team about applying for his boxing license and the Ring Magazine heavyweight champion this week stated he’ll fight again this April.

It’s clear that it’s not going to be Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder straight away. First fight back. They are both tied up with bouts next anyway.

Furthermore, Fury hasn’t fought in nearly two and a half years (by the time he gets in the ring) and at the moment is still in the process of weight shedding and getting back into somewhat near fight shape.

It’s hard to think that he’ll get in the shape he was in for Klitschko back in November 2015 for his first fight back, but expect him to be in reasonable condition come April.

Today he said on Twitter that:

“Tell me I’m not gonna take over the division once again! Wilder AJ Parker Charr watch out as the boggy man is coming for you! I’ll see you in your nightmares! GYPSYKING WILL REIGN OVER THE WORLD”

It’s obvious that he’s not going to get Wilder, AJ or Parker next up, all heavyweight champions, all tied up already – but he did mention Manuel Charr.

Hint, hint. Nudge, nudge.

This could very well make sense for him in a comeback fight and he’d enjoy significant height and reach advantages over Charr too.
