Amir Khan and Eddie Hearn were rumoured to be talking to one another but the news has now been made official today as the two men met and made the announcement in London.

The pair have long been at odds with one another over mainly negotiations of a possible Kell Brook fight, but also apparently the pair just simply not getting along in the past.

But boxing as it has done so many times in the past, has seen people who’ve fallen out in the past make up with one another when a good deal was there to be done.

Today Hearn confirmed the news which has shocked the boxing world:

Incredible news that could see a huge number of fights made for Khan over the coming years in the last part of his career.

He’s now aged 31 and the Kell Brook fight in reality can now be made very easily. Many will be hoping for the bout this year following today’s news.

Khan has also been linked with a fight against Adrien Broner for his comeback fight, thought to possibly happen this April.
