Dana White Rips Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux Fight

The UFC president turned soon to be boxing promoter continues his hammering of long time verbal sparring partner Bob Arum and his promotional company Top Rank.

While the recent Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux fight in December turned out to be underwhelming in the end when the fight finished prematurely, the fight still pulled in good numbers on ESPN to be fair.

This doesn’t impress Dana White however, who told Kevin Iole on YouTube that:

“When you put on a fight and you actually draw in the numbers and the f**** guys quits because his knuckle hurts? You’re doing the same bulls*** where people were turning off the TV.”

He continued:

“These guys go on ESPN and tank! Do you think the people who showed up and bought tickets for that fight were happy with that performance?”

White has gone on record saying that so far he will not be meeting both Arum and Oscar De La Hoya, and that he won’t work with TV network Showtime again.

For a man not even promoting boxing yet he’s certainly making waves.

It is thought that White could work with Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather’s promotional company, Mayweather Promotions, while still also running the UFC in the sport of MMA.
