Badou Jack Scores Massive Fight Next Up

WBA light-heavyweight world champion Badou Jack scores a huge fight after only moving up to the 175lbs limit not long ago in 2017.

It’s always cool to see when a fighter who stays patient, does things the hard way and actually improves fight to fight – gets his rewards.

Swedish fighter Badou Jack a few years ago was an unknown quantity in the fight game.

A humble, down to Earth European just moved to Las Vegas trying to make his way in the fight game like most pro boxers.

He stumbled upon Floyd Mayweather and signed with his promotional company, stayed patient and eventually last two years ago, became a world champion in 2015 by winning the WBC super-middleweight title at the time.

Fights against solid names like George Groves and James DeGale came next.

In fact, his last four fights have all been to decent names when you factor in Lucian Bute and when he won the belt originally from Andre Dirrell back in 2015.

Patience is a hard thing to have in life, most of us would admit as much, surely. But it is worth it though, if you genuinely believe in what you are doing.

Well, Badou Jack (22-1-2-13KO) did and now the WBC have confirmed that he’ll officially fight their champion Adonis Stevenson in a huge bout later this year.
