Belfast and world boxing fans are in for a treat tonight with a plethora of pugilistic talent on display headlined by a world title shot for Jamie Conlan.

Belfast is often referred to as one of the fight capitals of the world and through tonight’s fights, there’s plenty of reason to see why.

Jamie Conlan, brother of fellow boxer Michael Conlan, will challenge for the IBF super-flyweight world title tonight against Jerwin Ancajas.

The champion has only ever lost once early in his career but Conlan as an undefeated challenger, always in exciting fights — will no doubt be looking to seize his big moment in what promises to be a thrilling bout on paper.

Also on the card is one Carl ‘The Jackal’ Frampton who returns to the ring for the first time since suffering his first pro loss of his career earlier this year to Leo Santa Cruz in January.

Since then he’s got a new trainer, promotional team and additional management, and will be looking to make a fresh start to the final leg of his career against opponent Horacio Garcia.

The bill will also feature talented and exciting talents such as Jonno Carroll and Paddy Barnes.

Not forgetting another world title fight on the card too — between Zolani Tete and Siboniso Gonya for the WBO bantamweight world title.
