50 Cent Makes Bold Claim About A Possible Joshua vs Wilder Fight

50 Cent Makes

Former boxing promoter and well known rap artist 50 Cent makes a bold prediction about the fight if it were to happen.

An Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder world heavyweight title unification fight would without doubt be a big deal, unquestionably.

But how big – is perhaps the real question.

What seems to be holding up the fight from happening straight away is according to Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn, the fight needs building and he has instead said he would rather Wilder fight his other heavyweight, Dillian Whyte – in a bid to make the Joshua showdown with Wilder much bigger.

50 Cent who was present at the fight at the weekend and who was formerly in the boxing business not long ago as a promoter, said he thinks the fight is the biggest fight that can be made if it happens:

“This is gonna be the Biggest fight in Boxing right here, who you wit?”

Do you agree? Is a Wilder vs Joshua fight bigger than say a Joshua vs Fury fight, for example?

From an international standpoint on both sides of the pond, sure.

But in the UK alone where Joshua can sell out large stadiums you’d have to think the Fury showdown is bigger, in the UK that is.

Ultimately it will come down to what makes the most overall money for the fighters, and promoters – which remains to be determined.

The fans don’t care about that, though.

If you ask any boxing fan, they’d more than likely like to see both fights happen. As long as the best fight the best the money will follow, at the end of the day.

Since mentioning the above, 50 Cent has also hinted that he is back in the boxing business in a statement on Instagram where he mentions promoter Don King – although it’s hard to fully understand what he means by:

“I told Don King it don’t matter who I come in with I’m leaving with the Winner, Don looked at me and said what the f***, you think you me? LOL”
