World heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder didn’t exactly think much of the fight his vanquished foe put up.

Bermane Stiverne took the rematch on late notice and in the end didn’t have a chance to get going due to the whirlwind of punches that came his way.

An incredible amount of flurries from Deontay Wilder was more than enough to ensure he retained his WBC heavyweight belt with little worry.

Following the win – Wilder said:

“I move like a middleweight man. The things that I can do in the ring is crazy. The things I can see in the ring. The way I set these guys up. I’m very confident in what I do and tonight I showed that.”

When asked about would he be willing to fight Dillian Whyte first before fighting Joshua, Wilder said;

“A king don’t chase peasants.”

When emotions had cooled down a bit and he had time to reflect on the win, his assessment of Stiverne’s challenge on social media was:

“EASY WORK. #BombZquad #WilderStiverne2″

Stiverne was reported to have made a minimum of half a million dollars for his guaranteed purse last night.

Wilder will be looking for the big pay day against Anthony Joshua next year which could easily net him more than $10 million dollars one would imagine.
