Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury officially confirms himself that he will be allowed to fight once again.
The comeback is on for the former heavyweight champion of the world as the division heats up with competition around the globe.
Only this past weekend Fury rival and current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua reiterated his support for a Fury comeback.
The comments came following Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said he would look to work with Fury in 2018.
At that time though, no official news had come as and when the Fury comeback would be.
As well as knowing if he’d be granted a professional boxing license by the British Boxing Board of Control.
After nearly two years out of the ring and multiple comeback stories since, the news has now officially come from the man himself tonight that the board will allow him to make a return:

With the green light to fight again from the BBBoC the only pending issue seems to be with UKAD for Fury.
Only a few weeks ago however Fury hinted that this suspension had been lifted in a hashtag on a tweet. But nothing official has come from the UK-based agency as of yet.
Either way one looks at it – tonight’s news is the most tangible step in the right direction for a Fury comeback since he last fought all the way back in November 2015 against Wladimir Klitschko.
