Watch: Okolie Produces Brutal TKO On Anthony Joshua Undercard

Lawrence Okolie produced a devastating third round stoppage in the opening fight of the Joshua vs Takam show in Cardiff.

Lawrence Okolie moved to 6-6 (5KO) in impressive fashion following a third round stoppage of opponent Adam Williams.

The Olympian from the Rio Games in 2016 ended the show with a punishing left hook that forced the referee to wave off proceedings in favor of the 24 year old.

Right from the off, he came out with intent to do harm.

Okolie clearly had bad intentions in his punches right from the get go as he proceeded to march forward on the front foot.

Not too bothered about the firepower coming back at him.

Although Williams showed admirable courage his defence was consistently been penetrated by round 2. Shots right down the middle from Okolie proved to be key.

The end wasn’t far in sight as it turned out. Here is the moment is happened:

Big things certainly await this young man in his future career, as he continues to go from strength to strength.

The timing of his progression could be key too.

His division (cruiserweight) is starting to get a bit more publicity and exposure at the moment for the first time in a long time.
