Anthony Joshua Gives His Fight Day Prediction Ahead Of Takam Fight

The man himself Anthony Joshua gives fight day prediction just hours ahead of getting into the ring tonight at the Millennium Stadium.

The ring walk for tonight’s IBO, IBF and WBA (Super) heavyweight title fight between Anthony Joshua and Carlos Takam is expected to be 10.15pm local UK time, with the first punch thrown expected at about 10.30pm.

That works out as latest 2.30pm PT in the US, 5.30pm ET.

All the pre-fight nerves will be naturally starting to flow through both men’s veins right now but if you look at the odds on the fight at present, the bookies at least would tell you Joshua shouldn’t be nervous at all.

But when has logic and boxing ever gone hand and hand?

It turns out Joshua is expecting a very tough fight from Takam tonight, that might surprise a few expecting a Joshua blowout tonight.

Speaking to William Hill today Joshua gave his prediction on what he thinks will happen:

“I think 10 rounds. I think 10 rounds. Do you know why? He’s a tough cookie. He’s a tough cookie yeah. It’s going to take some time to break him time.”

Well – there you have it. A punt on the above round for Joshua would surely be decent enough odds, too.
