Robert Helenius Promising A Knockout Of Dillian Whyte

Robert Helenius is vowing to take Dillian Whyte out this weekend on the Anthony Joshua vs Carlos Takam card in Cardiff.

The UK’s Dillian Whyte will be looking to take one step closer to his own heavyweight title shot this weekend fighting on the undercard of his rival Anthony Joshua, but must first come through Robert Helenius.

Should he do this then a potential showdown with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder could be in the offering in 2018.

Helenius has other plans though. Speaking today he said:

“I will definitely win by knockout. He will definitely fall. I know it will be a tough fight, but it will be a tough fight for Dillian more than it will be for me, and it will be a loss on his record, that’s it. I hope he stands and fights with me and doesn’t run, as his reputation suggests.”

He added:

“I have absolutely no worries about ring rust because I am always, always in training. I feel I have ten years left in boxing, and during this time I will definitely become word heavyweight champion. I have no doubts.”

Also on the card this weekend will be a world title shot for Ireland’s Katie Taylor and the card will also feature world champion Kal Yafai.

Other fighters on the undercard will include Dave Allen, Frank Buglioni and Lenroy Thomas.
