Ryota Murata KO / Stoppage of N’Dam To Become WBA 160lbs Champion

The Ryota Murata KO of Hassan N’Dam exacted revenge between the two as the Japanese middleweight won their rematch last night.

The pair originally fought back in May in Japan for the first time for the vacant title at that time. On that occasion N’Dam won a close and controversial split decision on the night.

Fast forward a few months and Murata got his revenge, in more emphatic fashion. A man who clearly did not want to leave it go to the judges’ scorecards once again.

Starting off in the bout the pair jostled for position in some close, hard to score rounds.

Murata was keen on getting the jab going and making it a weapon in the fight, as well as slamming in big right hands as the fight progressed.

Despite a good rally from N’Dam in round 3, Murata started to break him down as the bout went on with some solid body shots.

The right hand was used to good effect by Murat both with straight shots down the middle and some painful looking right hooks.

Ultimately the show came to an end in round 7. Here’s the Ryota Murato KO / stoppage moment last night in Japan over Hassan N’Dam:
