Vastly experienced Tyrone Nurse 35-2-2(7KO’s) makes a fourth defence of his British Light Welterweight title when he meets exciting prospect Jack Catterall 18-0(10KO’s).

Since stunning Thomas Stalker back in 2014, Catterall has built a great ranking with the WBO, but gets his long-awaited shot at Britains champ in a stacked domestic division.

Potential rivalries with Josh Taylor and Ohara Davies could be ahead at world level for Catterall, but he will need a career best performance to defeat the awkward Nurse.

Nurse often frustrates as he neglects the natural advantages he has over so many of his foes, and he so nearly came unstuck in his last two defences against Joe Hughes and Tommy Coyle.

The former managed a deserved draw in April.
