The clock is ticking for Hughie Fury to the biggest night of his life so far when on Saturday night in his hometown of Manchester, he’ll get the opportunity to fight for a heavyweight championship of the world against New Zeland’s Joseph Parker.

Although the opportunity has come relatively early in his career, in a way it’s being a long time coming for Hughie when you consider he turned pro at 18 and made one of the quickest starts to a heavyweight career out of anyone in Europe in recent times.

Blighted by illness in the past and then a delayed fight with Parker that was meant to happen in New Zealand, he’s now fit and healthy ahead of a fight that most believe to be a competitive one that could go either way.
