Mayweather Betting On Himself vs McGregor – Makes Kimmel Promise

Floyd Mayweather betting on himself against Conor McGregor and made a promise to TV host Jimmy Kimmel who was thinking of backing him.

Mayweather-McGregor talk is everywhere right now from barbershops to local butchers.

Everywhere I’ve went this last week in Ireland I’ve been asked what do I think about the fight.

It’s one of those rare times in boxing that the sport reaches out to absolutely everybody.

Speaking to a friend who runs a boxing gym in the US yesterday, he told me he’s coming across the same thing.

Everybody that’s coming through the door from the public are asking non stop about Mayweather-McGregor.

Expect odds to likely move around a bit before fight night on August 26th – due to the sheer amount of people placing bets on it.

Floyd Mayweather himself confirmed to TV host Jimmy Kimmel when questioned if he will be betting on himself that he will be:

“Yes.”

Kimmel then went on to say he’s thinking of putting a lot of money on Mayweather to win by any method just to win a small amount.

To which Mayweather responded:

“It’s worth it. Whatever you bet (on me) and if you don’t win – I’ll give it back to you.”

Interestingly as the show went on, Mayweather was absolutely positive that the fight will not go the full twelve rounds and that he’ll win inside the distance:

“Absolutely not. Absolutely not.”
