The latest Tyson Fury retirement statement and a troubling message for the closest members of his team as chaos continues for Fury.

Throughout 2017 indications have all been positive that we would see a return of former heavyweight champion of the world to the boxing ring.

His trainer and uncle Peter Fury has said in interviews multiple times that we’ll see him back, as well as Tyson saying so himself and also making an effort to get back into some training in the gym this year.

However consistent doubt has surrounded whether in fact we’ll see him back this year, or if Tyson knows himself if he’ll comeback.

It’s not the first time that Tyson has posted on social media that he is retiring from the sport, but here is his latest statement as per his Instagram account:

Perhaps more troubling however was his post and swipe at his promoter Mick Hennessy and his uncle and trainer Peter Fury, for what he perceived as the two working with the enemy in David Haye:

This stemmed from a post sent out by Peter Fury where it now looks like a fight between his son (and Tyson’s cousin) Hughie Fury against former heavyweight champion David Haye could be in the works – if Hughie wins his upcoming WBO heavyweight title fight with Joseph Parker in September:

Haye previously had two fights scheduled against Tyson Fury a few years back that he famously pulled out of at the last minute – leaving Tyson Fury without the opportunity of a massive pay day on two occasions.
