Errol Spence speaks on his humble beginning as an amateur boxer and ultimately, what he wants out of the sport one day.

Newly crowned IBF welterweight world champion Errol Spence Jr has already proven himself in a short time frame as a professional fighter.

The undefeated Texan has ripped through his opponents like a razor sharp blade through butter.

His recent conquest of UK fighter Kell Brook showed that he is indeed every bit as good as many had predicted he would be.

The exciting thing though is there is much more to come, one suspects.

He went to Brook’s backyard in Sheffield and gradually broke the Englishman down on that night, broke Brook’s orbital bone and eventually stopped him inside the distance to rip the title back to the US.

Many believe the Spence is the next great American world champion and as things stand with Floyd Mayweather soon to be retired, fights out there against fellow welterweights like Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman at least show there is some credible competition for Spence on his way to potentially fulfilling that expectation.
