Today marks the final leg of what has been a busy week for Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez. Two fighter who have toured the world to announce their fight for the middleweight championship this coming September.

A fight that the boxing world is eagerly anticipating and despite talk of the Mayweather vs McGregor announcement dampening the spirit of the tour this week, that couldn’t be further from the truth really.

People have been turning out in their droves by the looks of things this week and why wouldn’t they? This is one of the best fights in boxing in a couple of years, at least.

Both men have been respectful for the most part aside from a few of the usual pre-fight jabs from most of the conferences this week.

Surely both guys know the moment of truth is not long away and any trash talk is irrelevant for a fight with this much credibility anyway, as well as outside of their usual personalities.
