Mayweather Explains Why McGregor Could Actually Beat Him

Floyd Mayweather explains why Irishman Conor McGregor could actually beat him in a boxing match, as crazy as it sounds.

Most boxing fans and those familiar with the sport seem to be of the consensus that there is no logical way the Irish UFC star could beat Floyd Mayweather in a professional boxing match.

The school of thought behind the above is a simple one.

The two sports (boxing and MMA) are apples and oranges at the end of the day. Mayweather is an all time boxing great and McGregor has never once had a professional bout in the sweet science.

The flip side of that coin for those that do seem to think that McGregor has some sort of a chance, as out there as it might be, is that Floyd Mayweather is now nearly two years removed from a professional boxing match and McGregor is much younger than him.

Indeed UFC president Dana White was even quoted by TMZ during the week as saying:

“Hey, it’s a fight at the end of the day.”

The fight negotiations are understood to still be ongoing and as of yet, despite all the positive signs it’s soon to be done, it doesn’t look anywhere near close in reality.

The above from Dana White most likely is just to sell the potential event.

Now even Floyd Mayweather is getting in on the above however. Also speaking to TMZ Floyd Mayweather explains why McGregor could beat him:
