Deontay Wilder States His Claim Why He Should Be Anthony Joshua’s Next Opponent

Deontay Wilder gives his reasons to Anthony Joshua why a heavyweight title unification next up with him should be what he chooses.

Deontay Wilder was over in the UK recently for Anthony Joshua’s big win over Wladimir Klitschko and was vocal in his call out of the British fighter straight after the bout at Wembley.

Wilder is the current WBC heavyweight champion and a unification fight between him and Joshua seems like a natural one that can be made in the near future.

Joshua must first wait to see if Klitschko decides to activate the rematch clause in their contract however. If the former long time champion does, then a Wilder fight for Joshua could have to take a back seat for a while.

There is a feeling out there now that all the heavyweight champions in the world of boxing could soon fight each other in a throwback to the good old days of heavyweight boxing – to find out who the best is.

The current champions are Joseph Parker, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua but a certain Tyson Fury from the UK is also lurking upon speculation of a summer comeback.

Speaking to TMZ Sports (hat tip) Deontay Wilder gave his reasons here why he feels he should be next up for Joshua:
