Anthony Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn reacts to the massive Joshua win at Wembley over Wladimir Klitschko in an incredible fight.

Promoter Eddie Hearn like Joshua must be a happy man this morning following not only the biggest win of Joshua’s career, but arguably the biggest fight in British boxing for many a year.

It was one of those big fights that did live up to the hype in the end. A win for everyone involved. Fans have been more or less all unanimous in their praise for what they saw at Wembley.

For those lucky enough to have been there the atmosphere by all accounts was something remarkable. A modern day gladiator spectacle.

If this was hundreds of years ago during the time of gladiators in the Roman Colosseum, it would have given fans watching value for their money even then surely.

It was a fight that reminded you why you watch boxing – why you became a boxing fan in the first place. A genuinely superb spectacle that appears to be coming during a Golden age for the sport of boxing once again.

Anthony Joshua Promoter Eddie Hearn started promoting a couple of years before Joshua turned pro, but he must have been thinking to himself he won the lotto last night when his man stopped Klitschko.
