Joshua Odds Dropping Ahead Of Klitschko Fight

The Anthony Joshua odds are shortening ahead of the British boxer’s biggest fight ever against Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley stadium.

The Joshua odds continue to move the closer we get to fight night.

While many expect this weekend’s heavyweight title bonanza to be a 50-50 type match, it seems people are voting with their wallets for Anthony Joshua so far.

Indeed, we polled nearly 1300 of our Facebook fans today over a two hour period and the results in favor of the Londoner tell a story of confidence in him:

The tally so far is over 1,100 votes for Joshua with just over 240 for Klitschko. The bookmakers are seeing moves been made at the moment in terms of Joshua’s price too.

Expect these to change but here’s what we’re seeing for fight week on the Joshua odds vs Klitschko (via Oddschecker.com):

Joshua odds

Previously when the fight was first announced Klitschko was much closer to evens than he is now.

Some late money appears to be flowing into the Joshua to win school of thought with Klitschko nearly 3/1 in some places.

Of course these will change around a bit the closer the fight gets.

Friday’s weigh-ins usually see some movement on big fights when fans have a chance to see how hard the fighters have trained physically.

Mentally both men seem to be on it at the moment. Expect some final week mind games from Klitschko.
