Watch: Shakur Stevenson Wins Pro Debut In Dominant Fashion

Shakur Stevenson wins pro debut in convincing fashion. Here are the main moments in how the Olympic silver medallist did it.

Shakur Stevenson got off to an assured start in the pro ranks this weekend in Carson, California. Fighting at the Stub Hub Center he won a technical unanimous decision over Arizona’s Edgar Brito.

Talks of an early rivalry between him and fellow stablemate Michael Conlan from Ireland have already begun.

As the fight began on his debut the gap in ability between hum and his opponent was evident.

Stevenson boxing behind a solid southpaw stance, utilized the jab to find range and worked to both the head and body smoothly.

He didn’t find it hard to find the target and proceeded to break Brito down, bit by bit.
