Sweet science energy is in the year this weekend in New York and further a field. There’s a whole host of great fights to look forward to.

Heading up this weekend is the world middleweight title unification tomorrow night between Gennady Golovkin and Daniel Jacobs.

Both men have been steadily dropping weight in the run up to this bout.

It’s been a transparent process too for fight fans to see to. As 30 day and then 7 day public weight checks were released as per WBC (World Boxing Council) rules.

Neither have cut any corners as to be expected. In fact, Golovkin was bang on the middleweight limit (160lbs) earlier this week.

It’s more a mental game now and fine tuning game plans before that first bell goes in NYC tomorrow night.
