Gennady Golovkin vs Daniel Jacobs is fast approaching and the folks at HBO have done very well below with their pre-fight hype video it has to be said. It’s a good fight, most boxing fans will tell you that. But it’s always nice to see fights of this quality given the relevant build-up that they deserve.

Neither guy is a trash talker. Instead, they do their talking with their fists. Considerable fists. They can knock people out with one single punch.

Golovkin is a feared man to put it mildly but he’s not going to come up against a guy in Jacobs who cares little about his reputation.

He’s a big strong middleweight who can punch incredibly hard and is in genuinely frighting shape ahead of the fight.

The closer the fight gets, the more and more I think Golovkin is really in for a dog fight here on March 18th.

Tough times make tough people and that’s something Jacobs knows all about. He comes forward and looks to be freakishly motivated for this Golovkin war.

And war it will be.
