We are now on the eve of fight night and the latest pre-fight documentary series of Garcia vs Thurman All Access makes for an intriguing watch.
Interestingly this time around, instead of filming the show months and weeks leading up to the fight, Showtime have instead focused the series on fight week itself.
A week where final weight cutting and mental focusing is key for the boxers involved as the reality of what is in front of them becomes more and more real.
Both of these particular US welterweights are not short of confidence or belief, as they’ve never lost as professionals and are reigning world champions.
They don’t know how to lose but it will be up to one of them to convince the other of how to:

The odds ahead of the fight have stayed consistently tight all the way up to this one – indicative of just how competitive an encounter it’s expected to be.
While David Haye is making a lot of noise in the boxing world this weekend, it’s the Garcia vs Thurman fight that I think could steal show in world boxing for entertainment.
