Professional heavyweight American boxer Dominic Breazeale has made serious and to be honest, shocking claims following the heavyweight title boxing event that took place this past weekend in Alabama, USA.
It was an event headlined by WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder who defended his title with a stoppage win over ex-football player Gerald Washington.
It was also a card that former world title challenger Dominic Breazeale featured on, in a fight of the night classic that saw him stop Izuagbe Ugonoh in spectacular fashion here.
Following the bout and post-fight press conference Dominic Breazeale claims Deontay Wilder and a mob attacked him with sucker punches, also attacking his team and members of his team in front of his wide and kids.
He put out this statement on his Instagram account today:
Quite a claim, which is both disturbing and shocking if true.
Obviously the full story is not clear at this point, as to what could have led up to the alleged story above.
But it seems strange that someone would make something up like the above, particularly when he mentions his own wife and kids.
Wilder has not commented on the allegation at this time.
Perhaps this could lead to a potential showdown between the American heavyweights inside the boxing ring in the future.
