Tyson Fury Gives A Sick Young Fan This Kind Gift

In positive boxing news this random act of kindness came across our desk on this Monday morning. Tyson Fury gives a young boy battling illness a great little gift below.

Former lineal heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury vacated his heavyweight belts in recent times in order to get over current mental health issues he was experiencing this year.

These problems stemmed all the way back to last year for him when he initially beat previous champion Wladimir Klitschko.

We spoke to his uncle and trainer Peter Fury here who confirmed to us that we will see Fury back in the boxing ring again in 2017.

His recovery from his mental issues appears to be going well at the moment with Fury posting this recent picture of himself and his wife:

During the past few weeks he’s also taken time out of his own recovery to help a young man who was going through some health issues as of late:

A man of his word, the gloves and other boxing memorabilia arrived for the young man to his delight:

Fair play Tyson Fury.

From a boxing perspective, it will be interesting to see how the heavyweight division shapes up in 2017 when Fury does return to the boxing ring.

At the moment the fragmentation of the division due to Tyson’s vacating of the belts has opened up an exciting time once again in the heavyweights – with the new contenders and champions looking to force their way through.

Domestically in the UK fights with the likes of Anthony Joshua and David Haye could have potential in 2017 for Fury.

But many, many exciting fights will also exist internationally.
