IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook calls out Pacquiao for a welterweight world title unification following the Pacman’s latest world title win.
Pacquiao captured the WBO welterweight crown with an impressive points win over former two-weight division champion Jessie Vargas in Las Vegas.
Straight after the fight talks of a Floyd Mayweather rematch came up again after Mayweather was seen attending the fight at ringside.
Kell Brook however was quick to call out Manny Pacquiao following his latest win:

Brook last fought at the middleweight limit back in September when he squared off with division kingpin Gennady Golovkin in London, ultimately coming unstuck insight the distance after a spirited performance.
It was thought Brook could vacate his IBF welterweight belt initially after the fight, when his promoter Eddie Hearn mentioned Brook would compete at super-welterweight (154lbs) in the new year once he had healed from a broken eye socket injury sustained at the hands of ‘GGG’.
Since then however, talk of such a move appears to have cooled slightly and if Brook does stay at welterweight he also has the considerable task of dealing with his mandatory challenger – American maestro Errol Spence Jr.
Usually the only way to get out of a mandatory is to have a world title unification which the Pacquiao fight would be at 147lbs, but it is unclear just yet if it would be possible next up for Brook.
What an excellent matchup it would be at welterweight however in the future. Certainly one I’d look forward to watching.
