Liverpool heavyweight David Price vows to KO IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on December 10th, adding to suggestions that he could be in the frame for the fight.
But on the other hand he could be just adding his voice and throwing his name in the hat like many other heavyweights are at the moment, pending on whether or not the Joshua vs Klitschko fight will happen or not.
As of the time of this article on late Thursday evening Irish time no announcement has come just yet for Joshua vs Klitschko.
David Price (21-3-18KO) has claimed that in the past he knocked out Anthony Joshua in sparring here. He’s now calling out his fellow UK heavyweight rival once again tonight by saying:

Verbal heavyweight shots fired? Affirmative.
Whether or not the claim that he knocked Joshua out in sparring in the past is true or not is up for debate. But a fight between the two would surely only end in one way if they met.
Price has been regrouping in recent years following stoppage defeats to Tony Thompson and Erkan Tepper. He’s rattled off two inside the distance victories of his own in 2016 to his credit.
Those wins came against Vaclav Pejsar and Ivica Perkovic – seen by many as confidence rebuilding fights for the likeable big Liverpudlian after a difficult few years following a lot of initial promise in his early pro career.
Should the Klitschko fight not happen for Joshua, a fight with Price would likely be very straightforward to make given the good relationship that exists between his promoters in Germany Sauerland Promotions and Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport.
Joshua would likely start as a heavy favorite in such a fight one would imagine but as we all know, anything can happen in heavyweight boxing.
