Joshua vs Klitschko Odds Have Bookies Favouring Joshua Early Doors

These Joshua vs Klitschko odds make for interesting reading, despite the fact the fight has not even been officially announced just yet.

Everything over the last week or so since the fight was first mooted suggests that the Joshua vs Klitschko fight is on the verge of being signed – from both fighters suggesting they want the fight, both promoters seemingly wanting the fight, fans wanting the fight on social media and even today, former heavyweight champion David Haye saying the fight is done.

Although Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn quickly said on Twitter to one fan that what Haye said today was not true, many feel it was, as Haye has form for getting these announcements correct through whatever sources he has.

Many will remember that prior to the Anthony Joshua vs Charles Martin fight getting announced earlier this year Haye let it slip online a few days early prior to the official announcement that the fight was going to happen.

Hearn could just not be allowed from a legal standpoint to announce the fight just yet.

Even the bookmakers are now taking bets and giving out odds on the bout, which is another positive sign that this event looks set to happen this December.

Speaking of the bookies, here’s the current Joshua vs Klitschko odds that are up live on Odds Checker already:

These odds making Klitschko as underdog will come as a surprise to many boxing fans and observers alike, with Klitschko being the significantly more experienced of the two and only losing last November for the first time in more than a decade following an excellent boxing display from Britain’s Tyson Fury.

There is no doubt that Joshua’s handlers are rolling the dice themselves on this one, as Klitschko also represents a massive step up in class from anything the IBF champion has faced thus far in his 17 fight professional career.
