Impressive Anthony Joshua Speed Bag Routine As He Awaits Next Fight

This Anthony Joshua speed bag drill certainly looks on point in terms of technique and hand-eye coordination – as he currently awaits next fight which is highly touted to be against Wladimir Klitschko.

Yesterday Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said that if a deal is to be done with Klitschko then by the end of the week the fight should be made.

This has everyone in the boxing community and indeed many general sports fans waiting patiently now, ahead of what could be a very exciting heavyweight fight before the end of 2016 is out.

The Londoner and IBF champion is clearly staying ready regardless of who is next opponent will be, as this Anthony Joshua speed bag routine illustrates:

Joshua last fought back in June when he defeated American Dominic Breazeale inside the distance at London’s O2 Arena.

The O2 Arena has become a bit of stomping ground for ‘AJ’ in recent times, with his last five fights on the trot all taking place there and seeing him record five stoppage victories over: Kevin Johnson, Gary Cornish, Dillian Whyte, Charles Martin (to win the IBF title) and most recently against Breazeale.

Joshua is now 17-0 (17KO) as a professional but in his next fight expected to be in December, he will have to leave London’s O2 Arena for the first time in a while it is being mooted, with a fight at the Manchester Arena tipped for his the venue for his next outing.

Although if the Klitschko fight were to get made for December and with popular UK heavyweight David Haye also recently linked with a fight in the Principality stadium in December, perhaps it is possible we could see one mega heavyweight event in Wales before the year is out.

The heavyweight division is currently in a positive transitional period that is seeing new talent emerge at the mid and top levels of the division all around the world once again.

Exciting times to be a boxing fan.
