Watch: Vasyl Lomachenko Training Routine High Tech As They Come

This Vasyl Lomachenko training routine in many ways represents a new age of how prizefighters are approaching training before their fights.

Since his brief indoctrination into professional boxing Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1-4KO) has managed to become a two-weight world champion since 2013.

Prior to turning over as a pro he had been a double Olympic gold medallist in the amateurs, as well as capturing two gold medals at the world amateur championships and one further gold at the European championships.

It’s little wonder that he’s subsequently been able to hit the ground running so quickly as a professional fighter.

But it’s not just amateur pedigree that has been pivotal to his rapid rise. It’s also been how he’s transitioned over in terms of his training methods.

We now live in a technologically advanced time in 2016 where professional athletes are competing at such an extraodrinarily competitive level, that any edge through new methods in training they can gain are snapped up by the innovative.

And innovative is what Lomachenko is – as the folks at Boxing’s Finest show here with their Vasyl Lomachenko training routine compilation video:

Gymnastics, hand eye co-ordination drills and the like, demonstrate that one of Ukraine’s finest boxing exports of his era is keen to constantly improveme as he continues his professional fighting journey.

He next faces off with Nicholas Walters on November 26th in Las Vegas, in what promises to be one of the fights of the year with the WBO super-featherweight world title on the line.

It’s one of those fights that boxing fans just love – two genuine world class fighters at the peak of their powers coming together to see who the best is.

One hell of a fight awaits between these two

But it’s also one of those match ups that has potential to cross over to non-boxing fans if it becomes the calculated war that many feel it can develop into, which if it does, expect to see it’s highlights spread far and wide across the internet.

Lomachenko last fought in June when he stopped Roman Martinez inside the distance in New York while Walters’ (26-0-1-21KO) last fight came all the way back in December of 2015 – when he boxed to a majority draw with Jason Sosa.
