Golovkin Regards Chris Eubank

Gennady Golovkin Regards Chris Eubank Jr As A ‘Clown’

‘GGG’ was in the UK today at a press conference ahead of his upcoming middleweight title defence against Kell Brook from Sheffield.

Before the fight with Brook was announced a number of weeks back, it was expected that Golovkin would in fact take on Chris Eubank Jr in a fight in the UK – not against Brook.

However after negotiations broke down due to frustrations between the promoters and Eubank Jr’s father Chris Eubank Sr, the Kell Brook fight was made at the eleventh hour.

Golovkin when speaking today to Kugan Cassius of IFL TV gave his genuine opinion of what he really thought of Eubank Jr:

“He is like clown, too much talking. Too much time, I lose too much time for him, just, it’s crazy. This is not business, this is not boxing, this is not respect. He is like clown.”

He added:

“I think he is not ready, just talking.”

Eubank Jr’s next fight was recently linked with an upcoming domestic fight in the UK against middleweight Tommy Langford after the British Boxing Board of Control ordered purse bids.
