Crawford vs Pacquiao Looks Very Positive For Being Next

Terence Crawford vs Pacquiao could be next up in a huge showdown to the delight of boxing fans.

Talks of a mouthwatering future Crawford vs Pacquiao fight came about after last night when Terence Crawford solidified his position as the undisputed number one junior-welterweight on Earth by unifying the WBC and WBO 140lbs titles with a masterful performance over previously undefeated Viktor Postol.

Postol came into the fight having become previously the first man to knock out Lucas Matthysse in his last bout.

Attention quickly turned to what could be next for Crawford, a clear star in the making now in world boxing after such an emphatic display.

The two-weight division world champion could next face Filipino boxing great Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao after the two fighter’s mutual promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank told ESPN Deportes:

“I have talked to Manny and he is willing to give Terence the opportunity.”

Music to the ears of fight fans no doubt.

Pacquiao however must first deal with his political duties in his native country before any training camp can commence for his next outing in the ring, which during the week was confirmed will take place on November 5th at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

It is looking highly positive that his opponent on the night will be Terence Crawford given the fact the fight would be relatively straight forward to make from a matchmaking perspective as both men share the same promoter.

Crawford vs Pacquiao, now there’s a fight.
