Actor Will Smith is the final person announced as a pallbearer ahead of Friday’s funeral of the great Muhammad Ali.
Many will remember Smith famously played Muhammad in the acclaimed movie ‘Ali’ (2001) and got to know Muhammad very well when researching the part and playing of the role.
The other pallbearers at the funeral will be former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, Jerry Ellis, the brother of Jimmy Ellis who was a former Ali sparring partner and also a heavyweight champion, ex-brother in law Komawi Ali, friend of the family John Ramsey, Muhammad’s cousins John Grady and Jan Waddell and nephew Ibn Ali.
The service is scheduled to take place this Friday on June 10th and will be available to be streamed online to the public, as well as the service being open to the public. It will take place at 19:00 BST in Muhammad’s hometown of Louisville in the State of Kentucky, USA.
