This Francisco Vargas and Orlando Salido fight looks like it just moved into the lead for the 2016 Fight of the Year. What an amazing brawl.
On the day that the world of boxing learned of the passing of the great Muhammad Ali, no doubt Ali would have been pleased with what he saw from these two combatants in their WBC super-featherweight clash.
The fight ended in a majority draw in the end on the scorecards, but the back and forth action will surely warrant another meeting between the two men in the not too distant future.
The high output of punches to the body and head at the Stub Hub Center in California thrilled the crowd all the way through the twelve rounds.
